Brekkie Klub is an initiative of Christian Family Church, Gympie.
The goal of Brekkie Klub is to better equip students both physically and socially to meet the demands of the day.
We also encourage the young people of our local community by setting up a strong, caring and healthy environment.
'Brekkie Klub' has a team of volunteer workers that serve breakfast to students as either a top-up after a morning of travel on the school
bus or a welcome snack if they have left home without breakfast.
The volunteers are sourced out of our local church and assist with both preparations, serving and clearing up.
We currently run weekly 'Brekkie Klubs' in five of our local schools, James Nash State High, Gympie State High School,
Two Mile Primary, One Mile Primary and Chatsworth Primary Schools.
We receive constant reports from both teachers and students as to how they appreciate our presence within the school.
Once a year Brekkie Klub holds Gympie's Got Talent in Gympie's local shopping centre Centro Gympie.
To date we have run three competitions and each year proves that Gympie has talent.
All money raised from this event helps to resource Christian Family's Brekkie Klub in the schools mentioned above.
